I might sound like a noob now.. Lol... but im more than 90 lvls of White magic so... Perhaps not too noob Cool

My Thoughts on this topic
Dark Mage
- More damage without buffs
- Even more damage with buffs, and buffs work in PK
- Can't Herd, but can kill faster with less hits due to buff
White mage
- More defense from monsters due to buff
- Less damage in PK
- Can heal ( only useful in herding)
- Can herd
- At lower levels, you train slower than Dark Mage, but at higher levels, it gets faster due to herding, especially when herding liches

Even with the many advantages that White mage has, Dark mage still has better advantages. Quality over quantity. Doing 150 more damage is far more useful than taking 150 damage less from monsters, since lower level monsters only do about 100 max. Liches which do 30 when triple Defense buffed, takes 3 shots from a +12 Scorpian Staff (R4) whilst with the same same, Dark Mages can two shot it. Killing the lich much faster, means More exp, less damage taken...... as I said... contraversial topic... I want to know what the others think. Post your thoughts please.

im only lvl 24 so i dont know much about this but its defenitly something to think over also what is herding?

when u coLLect TONS of mobs and lay them on the ground with 1 speLL/shot/skiLL

archers get first area attack on lvl 40 (penetration)
warriors get it on lvl 70 (Burst Stab)
dark magicians get it on lvl 60... or 65 (fire waLL)
and i dont know the name of the white skiLL, but its on same lvl like the dark mages

Meh, I myself am not sure yet since I haven't been on here that long, I'm also thinking about te hybrids like The Pally and SK too because even though they only give 1 skill each, they are still hybrids

im lvl 115 pure white and have found levelling via herding is extremely fast since the change that made levelling easier where i got from 110-115, herding is way OP, white can do it better than Dark, Dark gets to the point where if they are not def buffed (depending on armour) they couldnt take as many as a white because they could simply not pot fast enough, and if they did they wud use alot more pots each herd and would spend more time going to buy more.

On the other hand PvP wise i think a dark mage should beat a white mage in a fair fight, but i found that i could go through my spells alot faster than some of the dark mages could therefore even tho hit hard i was pumping spells out approx 4 of mine to 3 of them.
Alot of it PvP wise comes down to who can spell cast fastest.
